Welcome to the PVAC Junior Racquetball site. Come here to get information about the The current Junior Racquetball program at PVAC has been running since 2000. It was started with Brian Dixon, Orlando Mayo, Jesse Rockowitz and Matt Santos. Originally the class had a few students and was done after school. It has grown to one of the largest Junior Racquetball classes in Californiia averaging 30-40 students per session. Early on, the class changed from after school to Saturdays. Beginners go from 11-12:00 and Intermediate/Advanced go from 12:00 - 2:00. The ages for the class go from 6-18 and it is for Boys and Girls. There are two sessions per year Fall/Winter and Winter/Spring (check Calendar for specific dates).It is $20 per session for members and $25 for non-members. During the Summer, there are Junior challenge courts from 11-2:00 every Saturday. These are usually supervised. The current class is run by Brian Dixon and Orlando Mayo. Brian is an Advanced AMPRO certified Racquetball instructor and is sponsored by Ektelon. When not working with the kids, Brian has been working as a Mortgage Broker since 1988. He is also on the Board of COTS in Petaluma, currently in his third year as President of the Board. Brian also serves on the California State Racquetball Association (CSRA) as the Junior Director for California. He has lived in Petaluma since 1993. Orlando is also AMPRO certified and is sponsored by E-Force. He is a member of the Coast Guard and lives in Petaluma with wife Lisa, daughter Brittany and son Jason. He has competed in military and international Racquetball events. Orlando is also a preferred provider of music and entertainment at major Professional Racquetball events.
